Structure first, paint last
Gearing up for the final draft of Blood & Soul. I’m re-reading it, looking for improvements in the story itself. I’m not proofreading yet. That is the last thing to do. 5 years ago started out trying to write pretty sentences and nearly drove myself crazy. It took me a long time to figure out I was looking through the wrong end.
