The Longest Way is Often the Shortest

In other words, I believe that if you rush things, take shortcuts, you only make mistakes or won’t choose the best route thus it slows you down and things get complicated. It’s an old adage – slow and steady wins the race.

I had to back up on the next book in the Creed of Kings Saga. Wow. Such revelations if you plumb the depths of your story. Out of Oblivion is shaping up nicely. Still in the hybrid outline phase …but man, what a phase! Big things like disposition of the main character at the start of the book, new, for arresting, prologue and little things like clever lines. So, glad I’m not rushing it – although I want to. But that is the life of a writer with a full-time job.

It’s less than a month away from the official anniversary release date of Blood & Soul. Can’t tell you how thrilling it was for me, an unknown author, to be on Amazon’s bestseller list for almost 6 months. I’m still in shock. I feel so blessed as I know other good authors never even get close, no reviews, no ratings. So sad, even though they’ve written a good book.

My editor, proof reader, book trailer maker, cover designer, music composer were all awesome! And, my good friend who did a last read-over (And has absolutely not ONE place for me to link him). What an amazing group of geniuses people.

I swear to make Out of Oblivion worthy of their efforts and worthy of reading.
